# Can I cancel a flow mid-run/step calculation?

> You can now cancel a flow mid-run and make updates instantly. If you spot a mistake or a run takes longer than expected, hit the 'Stop run' button and get back to building without the wait.

Steps that are refreshing or re-calculating cannot be cancelled. Once a flow has been triggered—whether by a manual run, scheduled trigger, or email-based input—it will run to completion, or time out on its own (our maximum timeout is set to 3 hours).

If you are having troubles stopping a flow, use the in-app chat or submit a ticket via [help@parabola.io](mailto:help@parabola.io). Include: flow name, Workspace name, Approximate time the flow started, and what went wrong with the "Stop run" button.
