# Can I recover a deleted flow?

> Sometimes users accidentally delete a flow or realize later that they need to recover it. This article explains if and how deleted flows can be restored in Parabola, what limitations exist, and what users should do if they need support.

Once a flow is deleted in Parabola, it **cannot be recovered** from the UI by the user. Deleted flows are **permanently removed** and do not go into a trash or archive folder.

However, if the deletion was recent, there may still be a chance to recover it by reaching out to Parabola's support team as soon as possible. While recovery is not guaranteed, the team may be able to assist depending on how recently the flow was deleted and system conditions at the time.

## **What to do if you need to recover a deleted flow**

1. Contact Parabola support immediately using the in-app chat or submit a request via [https://support.parabola.io](https://support.parabola.io/).
2. Provide the following details:
   1. Name of the flow
   2. Workspace name
   3. Approximate date and time of deletion
   4. Any team members who may have deleted the flow
3. The support team will investigate and let you know if recovery is possible.

## **Tips to avoid accidental deletions**

* Create drafts of your flows if you're making larger updates to an existing flow. You can discard drafts and create new drafts without impacting the Live version of your flow.
* Duplicate flows that you're overhauling to retain the original version.
* Set clear naming conventions for flow names to avoid confusion.
