# How do I get flow run and failure notifications?

> Parabola can send email notifications when flows finish running. This helps you stay up to date with flows that run in the background on a schedule, for email triggers, or webhook triggers.

Email notification preferences are managed per user, per flow.

    Open your flow

    Click the name of your flow, then the gear icon to access flow settings

    Select preferences for "Your email settings for this flow"
  </Step>

The options are:

* Receive an email every time flow is run
* Receive an email only when flow fails or pauses
* Never receive emails about this flow

By default, the owner/creator of a flow will recieve notifications when the flow fails or pauses, and other collaborators will never recieve emails about the flow. This setting is configured on a per-uses basis.
