# How do I get my CSV from a generate CSV file step?

The **Generate CSV File** step:

* Delivers CSVs to the step creator's email, or whatever email is specified in the step settings
* Makes the CSV available in the "Run History" panel—look for the link to download the outputs from the flow.

You cannot download the CSV from within the step settings, nor before the flow has run.
