# Teams and users

> Add and remove users, choose between Admin, Editor, and Viewer, scope admin permissions, and connect your identity provider.

Control who has access to your Prowork organization, what they can do, and how much of it they can see. To navigate to your [Workspace](https://parabola.io/app/team) page, click your avatar in the top right corner and click **My team**.

## Adding users

Adding a user is self-serve, right from the Workspace page. No need to loop in Prowork support, though you will need Admin access to do it yourself.

<Steps>
  <Step>Go to the Workspace page and click **+ Add teammate**.</Step>
  <Step>Enter their name and email address.</Step>
  <Step>Assign a role under **Workspace permissions**: Admin, Editor, or Viewer.</Step>
  <Step>Click **Invite teammate**. They'll get an email invite to set up their account.</Step>
</Steps>

  </Frame>
</div>

You can also add someone directly from a flow's sharing window, if you'd rather grant access in the moment.

## Choosing roles

A good default is to start people with the minimum role they need. You can always upgrade their access later as their work grows.

* An **Admin** can make changes to your subscription and billing, and add or delete team members.
* An **Editor** cannot make subscription or billing changes, and cannot add or delete users. They can create and edit flows.
* A **Viewer** has read-only access to flows.

### Admin permission scopes

Admins on Advanced or Enterprise plans can have up to five distinct sets of permissions:

| Scope | What it includes |
| :- | :- |
| **User permissions** | Add and remove team members, change permission levels |
| **Billing permissions** | Change subscription plan, update payment method, and view credit usage and usage reports |
| **Reporting permissions** | View credit usage and usage reports, without access to subscription or payment settings |
| **Content permissions** | Access, edit, and move all flows in the org, including flows outside shared team folders; delete team folders |
| **Org Admin** | All of the above, plus managing other admins |

On other plans, every admin is an Org Admin with user, billing, reporting, and admin-management permissions, but not content permissions.

Use Reporting permissions for teammates who need to track usage but shouldn't manage billing, like a finance lead or an ops manager. On the Billing & Usage page, they see the **Credit usage**, **Usage overview**, and **Usage reports** sections, and nothing else. To assign it, open the teammate's admin settings from the Workspace page and select **Reporting**.

<Note>
  Want to hand off your own Org Admin status to someone else? Reach out to Prowork support and the team will help you make the switch.
</Note>

## Removing users

Removing someone requires Admin access.

<Steps>
  <Step>Go to the Workspace page.</Step>
  <Step>Find the person you want to remove.</Step>
  <Step>Click the **gear icon** next to their name.</Step>
  <Step>In the window that appears, click the **trash icon** to begin the deletion process.</Step>
  <Step>You'll be prompted to select a new owner for the deleted user's existing flows from a dropdown menu.</Step>
</Steps>

That person takes ownership of those flows. Other users' edit or view permissions on the flows don't change.

## Adding collaborators to a flow

Adding a new team member does not automatically give them access to all flows on your account, only those in shared team folders. See [Sharing flows](/docs/product/canvas/sharing-flows) to add a collaborator to a specific flow.

## SSO

If your organization uses a centralized identity provider (Okta, Google Workspace, OneLogin, Azure AD) you can connect it to Prowork through SSO, so your team signs in with the credentials they already use. Setup is quick: a short coordination call with the Prowork team gets your configuration exchanged and ready to go.

Once it's set up, day-to-day user management still happens from the Workspace page. If you update someone's access in your identity provider, it's worth mirroring that change in Prowork too, since the two aren't automatically linked yet.

See [Single sign-on (SSO) configuration](/docs/product/security/sso-configuration) for the full setup steps.

## Billing

Anyone with billing permissions can update the payment method from the Billing page. For plan changes or subscription questions, your account manager or [help@parabola.io](mailto:help@parabola.io) are the best next stop.

See [Billing and pricing](/docs/product/account/billing-and-pricing) to manage your plan, payment method, and invoices.
