Sort rows

Sort rows

Sorts the entire table based on the values in specified columns

Sorting, the Parabola way

A key concept to remember when sorting in Parabola is that rows (records) will never be split up during a Sort rows step (or almost any other operation). So you need to think about sorting rows, not cells.

Multiple sorting rules (Nested sorting)

To create a nested sort in Parabola, where groups of data are sorted within themselves, use multiple rules. The rules are applied top down, so the first rule will be the first sort, and the second rule will sort entries within each group that has identical value in the column used in the first sort, and so on down all of your rules.

You can also opt in to ignore blanks during the sort.
