The live version of a flow

The default version that all users build in is the “live” version. This is also the version that can be “run” using the “Run flow” button, or via schedules or triggers. Users are allowed to build and edit flows in the live version, unless the flow is actively running, has schedules/triggers active on it, or they only have read-only permissions. The live version of a flow does not need to be published - it can export data out of Parabola by running on a schedule, or anytime the user clicks the “Run flow” button.

The draft version of a flow

Users can opt in to creating a draft, which cannot be run. Drafts are less commonly used, but are great when a user needs to make large edits to a flow without disrupting the version that is actively running on a schedule. Draft flows must be published, using the “Publish flow” button, before they can be run. Once a draft flow is published, it overwrites the current live version of a flow.
