If Version History is enabled on your account, this is fully self-serve: open the Flow history panel from the upper right of the canvas, find the version you want, and restore it — either overwriting the live flow, writing it to a draft, or spinning up a new flow from that version. See Version history for the full walkthrough. Version History is currently rolled out to select customers on our Advanced and Enterprise plans. If you’re on one of those plans and don’t see it, or if you need a rollback and aren’t sure whether it’s enabled for your account, reach out to your account manager or help@parabola.io — support can also check on and request enablement on your behalf.

If Version History isn’t available on your account

There’s no other in-app way to browse and restore historical versions of a flow. We recommend taking precautions to avoid overwriting your flow changes. See the tips section for suggestions on how to build safely in Parabola. If you still need to recover a prior version, the process is the same as recovering a deleted flow — see Can I recover a deleted flow? for what to include when you contact support.

Tips for recovering or preserving pieces of logic:

  • While editing a flow, you can use Command + Z / Ctrl + Z to undo up to the last 100 changes. This memory is reset when your browser window is closed or refreshed.
  • Create drafts of your flows if you’re making larger updates to an existing flow. You can discard drafts and create new drafts without impacting the Live version of your flow.
  • Duplicate flows that you’re overhauling to retain the original version.
