Pull real-time US tariff data via API

Pull real-time additional US tariff data from Parabola's API to drive visibility into the latest rate data by country

How to automatically pull data from Parabola's tariff rate API

We recently deployed a tariff scenario modeling template to help brands answer the question, "What changes do we need to make to our supply chain to mitigate the impact of tariffs?" In building out the template, we found that one part of the process was surprisingly challenging: finding reliable, consolidated, real-time data on additional 2025 US duties levied by country.

With these rates changing on a weekly basis, we couldn't rely on outdated articles and scattered information to power our model—so we built an API in-house, free for anyone to use. Use this template to pull data directly from the API and incorporate rate data into other processes to improve your supply chain team's decision making process.

Pull real-time US tariff data via API FAQs
What is Parabola's US tariff data API?
+

The tariff data API from Parabola is a free, public API that provides tariff data in a clean, structured format. The API returns fields such as country, additional 2025 US duties, the effective date, and source. It's especially useful for accessing real-time rate data that you can then incorporate into processes like modeling out expected tariffs by country based on your collection of products.

How to use Parabola's US tariff data API?
+
  • This API is offered for free to Parabola customers. To start pulling data from the API, click the Use Template button above, which will bring you into a Parabola Flow that has the API connection pre-configured.
  • If you're new to Parabola, clicking Use Template will sign you up for a free account where you can play around with the API.
Tips for using the tariff data API?
+
  • Since the data returned by this API is likely just one input in a larger analysis, consider using another Template—like the tariff scenario modeling template—to take the analysis a step further.
  • Be sure to double-check the data for specific countries of interest, and reach out to the developer (adam@parabola.io) with any feedback or improvement requests.

Additional information on the 2025 US tariff data API?
+
  • API disclaimers:
    • This data provides you with additional 2025 US tariffs levied against countries. If there were additional, pre-2025 tariffs put in place against a country, those tariffs will not be reflected in this dataset.
    • Additionally, if you are importing products that are eligible for exemptions, you'll want to incorporate that logic into your workflow.
    • Finally, you'll notice that this list does not contain all 195 recognized countries. The list does contain all of the top countries that the US imports from. If you see a country of interest missing, please contact adam@parabola.io or use the Add rows step to add the country to the dataset.
  • If you have feedback on the API or see information that should be corrected, please contact the developer at adam@parabola.io.
  • To start leveraging the API and incorporating it into a Parabola Flow, check out the Template above and Parabola University.
