Available data
Using the Klaviyo integration in Parabola, you can pull in a wide range of marketing and customer data:
- Accounts: Your Klaviyo account information including account name, ID, contact details, timezone, and test account status.
- Campaigns: Email and SMS campaign details including names, subject lines, send dates, audience counts, campaign status, and associated lists or segments.
- Events: Customer behavioral data such as order placements, page views, email interactions, form submissions, and custom events tracked from your website or integrations.
- Profiles: Detailed information about customer profiles, including contact information, subscription status, custom properties, predictive analytics (CLV, churn probability), and full event history.
- Profiles for Segment: All customer profiles that belong to a specific segment, allowing you to export targeted audience lists based on your segmentation criteria.
- Campaign Values Report: Performance metrics and revenue data for your campaigns, including opens, clicks, conversions, revenue attributed, and other aggregate statistics over time.
- Flow Series Report: Time-series performance data for your automated flows, showing sends, opens, clicks, revenue, and conversion metrics across different flows and time periods.
Common use cases
- Consolidate marketing performance across channels: Pull campaign and flow metrics from Klaviyo alongside ad spend from Facebook, Google, and TikTok to create unified marketing dashboards that track ROI, attribution, and conversion rates across every channel.
- Reconcile customer data across systems: Sync Klaviyo profiles with your CRM, ERP, or data warehouse to ensure customer contact information, purchase history, and segmentation data stay consistent across all platforms.
- Automate recurring marketing reports: Schedule daily or weekly exports of campaign performance, list growth, deliverability metrics, and revenue attribution—then automatically send reports to stakeholders via email, Slack, or Google Sheets.
- Monitor list health and engagement trends: Track subscriber growth, churn rates, and engagement metrics over time. Set up alerts to flag sudden drops in open rates, spikes in unsubscribes, or deliverability issues that need immediate attention.
- Analyze cohort and retention performance: Combine Klaviyo's event and profile data with order history from Shopify or your ERP to build cohort analyses that show how different customer segments behave over time—identifying your most valuable segments and highest churn risks.
- Audit campaign targeting and segmentation: Export segment membership data and compare it against order data, inventory levels, or customer service records to ensure your campaigns are reaching the right audiences and driving the intended outcomes.
Tips for using Parabola with Klaviyo
- Schedule your flow to match your reporting cadence. For daily performance dashboards, run your flow every morning. For weekly marketing reviews, schedule it to run Monday mornings so reports are ready for team meetings.
- Filter and limit your data pulls strategically. Use date filters to pull only recent campaigns or events—this keeps your flows fast and avoids reprocessing historical data unnecessarily.
- Combine Klaviyo data with other sources for complete visibility. Join Klaviyo profiles with Shopify orders, NetSuite records, or fulfillment data from your 3PL to create unified views of customer behavior, campaign performance, and business impact.
- Use Alerts to catch issues early. Set up notifications in Parabola to flag when deliverability rates drop, when high-value segments shrink, or when key campaigns underperform—so you can take action before small issues become big problems.
- Leverage predictive analytics fields. Klaviyo's predictive properties (like churn probability, predicted CLV, and expected next order date) can be pulled into Parabola and used to trigger proactive workflows—like flagging at-risk customers for win-back campaigns or identifying high-value prospects for VIP treatment.
- Export enriched data back to your stack. After transforming and enriching your Klaviyo data in Parabola, push it to Google Sheets for team visibility, update records in your CRM, or sync it to your data warehouse for long-term analysis and reporting.
With Parabola and Klaviyo connected, you can automate the workflows that keep your marketing operations running smoothly—turning marketing data into actionable insights without the manual exports, spreadsheets, or engineering requests.
