Mapping from another dataset

Objective

Datasets are frequently missing certain columns that you want included. For example, your table of leads may have a country but not a region. If you come from Excel you may be worried you have to figure out how to write a VLOOKUP function and constantly make sure it's correctly dragged down to all cells.

Solution

Assuming you have a list of countries and their associated regions you can use a “Join” object to map the region data to your existing company list using the company column as the common field. The resulting data will have a region column for every entry.
